Daisy was found lying in the road, soaking wet, very skinny and having a fit.
After being rushed to the vet for a thorough check she then came into the care of Paula’s Cat Rescue for some love and TLC. Poor Daisy was full of fleas, her skin was clearly very sore and scabby because of her unwanted house guests and as expected, Daisy was just terrified.
But over time, the lovely volunteers at Paula’s Cat Rescue worked their magic and gradually gained Daisy’s trust as well as build up her confidence. Her transformation has been incredible and it’s been so rewarding to watch this little lady recover as well as she has.

Once Daisy had her vaccinations, micro-chipping and neutering she was ready to find her forever loving home, and it didn’t take long!
It’s with great pleasure that we announce Daisy went to her new home in Upton with a lovely lady called Heather. As soon as these two met, you could see an immediate bond.
In Heather’s words: “Daisy looked at me as if to say, at last! My Mum is here for me!”
It brought tears to our eyes to see these two getting on so well so quickly – but what’s more heart-warming is our dear sweet Daisy now has the home she deserves after such a tumultuous time!
